I understand that, if offered a position with Canterbury Tower, I may be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen, a post-offer drug screen, and/or a pre-employment medical examination performed by a qualified health professional. My application packet contains a copy of Canterbury Tower’s substance abuse policy, which further explains the drug screening process. I have been provided the opportunity to ask any questions concerning this policy of Canterbury Tower and my responsibilities under this policy. I understand that unsatisfactory results from, refusal to cooperate with, or any attempt to affect the results of a drug screen may result in the withdrawal of any employment offer or termination of employment if already employed. I also agree to submit to a background check as a condition of employment. I understand that all offers of employment are contingent upon Canterbury Tower’s satisfaction with the results of these pre-employment tests and checks. I understand that, if hired, these tests and checks may be repeated throughout my employment at any time and I herby consent to repeating these processes at the company’s discretion unless otherwise prohibited by law.
I understand that the cost of these screenings and background checks is paid for by Canterbury Tower. However, I understand that if I leave employ of Canterbury Tower with the ninety (90) day Introductory Period, voluntarily or involuntarily, I agree to have the cost(s) deducted from my final payroll check.
I understand that his Application for Employment is not intended to create a contract of employment, expressed or implied, or an obligation for Canterbury Tower to hire me. If I am hired, I understand that employment with Canterbury Tower is at-will, meaning that either the company or I can terminate my employment at any time for any lawful reason with or without cause or prior notice.
Subject to any reasonable accommodation as may be required by law, the needs of Canterbury Tower may make the following conditions mandatory: overtime, a rotating work schedule, or a work schedule other than the schedule I may be offered upon employment. If employed, I accept these conditions.
