Recognizing the possibility of health issues arising, Tampa's Canterbury Tower complements the fulfilling experience of our independent living with services, programs and environments designed to meet a wide range of potential health care needs.
As a true Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), Canterbury Tower provides resort style amenities with the peace-of-mind of priority access to the state-of-the-art onsite skilled nursing facility.
Should a transition to our skilled nursing home area become necessary, you will be treated to first-class care at Canterbury Tower’s Health Care Center, with both private and semi-private accommodations, the Center allows you the opportunity to personalize your space.
Comfortable seating areas are available throughout the Center for visiting family and friends. Delicious meals planned by a registered dietician and prepared by our expert chefs, can be served either in the dining room, on the balcony, or in the resident’s own accomodation.
Ultimately, it is Canterbury Tower's caring and dedicated staff that will engage our residents. Their smiling faces and eagerness to serve our residents makes Canterbury Tower a unique place on Tampa Bay that you and your family can call home.
If it’s Short Stay Rehabilitation, Canterbury Tower has that, too. Canterbury Tower Health Center features private accomodations dedicated to serving individuals for short-term rehabilitation, complete with an accessible in-house gym, providing the ideal rehabilitative post-hospitalization environment. Our licensed therapy staff provide physical, occupational and speech/language therapies.
Residents are able to develop a care plan and regiment that suits our residents needs and schedules. The therapy staff is dedicated in-house, and provide consistency and reliability for our residents.
Canterbury Short Stay Rehabilitation is open for residents and NON-residents. Our residents have priority access, but most often we are able to accomodate the larger Tampa community. We encourage health care professionals to check availability with us, when a need arises.
